How to Upload State/Federal Licenses for Restricted Products

Some states require specific licenses to purchase state restricted products such as ammunition and air guns. You can upload your state and/or federal license to MidwayUSA to purchase these products during the checkout process or in the Licenses & Documents section of your account.

Note: If uploading a Federal Firearms License (FFL) to purchase restricted products, you must be the license holder and the product(s) must ship to the exact address listed on your license.

How to Upload Documents During the Checkout Process:

1. Find ONE of the following valid forms of identification from our list of Licenses for Restricted Products by State.

2. After you add your shipping address, you’ll be asked to upload your licenses before continuing to Payment. Upload a legible copy of your license(s), then click the ‘Continue’ button.

3. Your order will be on hold until your licenses have been reviewed. This can take up to one business day after you place your order.

4. Once your licenses are verified, your order will be processed.

How to Upload Licenses in Account:

1. Find ONE of the following valid forms of identification from our list of Licenses for Restricted Products by State.

2. Upload a legible copy of the above license(s) in the Licenses & Documents section of your account.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to you in about one business day.

4. Order your ammunition and/or air guns just like any other product via midwayusa.com or by phone 1-800-243-3220.

Trouble Uploading Documents

If there are any issues with your document upload, we’ll reach out by phone or email within one to two business day(s). If we haven’t heard back from you within five days, we will delete the document and cancel any invoices associated with it.
