Potterfields Commit to MidwayUSA Foundation 2 to 1 Donation Match Program
The result of a generous commitment made by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA, the MidwayUSA Foundation recently announced a new matching program. Further proof of the Potterfields’ and MidwayUSA Foundation’s commitment to provide sustainable financial support to youth shooting sports teams across America, all donations made to MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowments will be matched 2:1 throughout 2017.
The 2017 matching program, administered by the MidwayUSA Foundation, will provide a 2:1 donation match for all private donations. Private donors will also be given the opportunity to designate a specific shooting team to benefit 100% from their donation. Funds returned to Team Endowment Accounts that teams generate from MidwayUSA Foundation fundraisers will also be eligible for a donation match. In 2016, the Potterfields’ commitment to the MidwayUSA Foundation match program and youth shooting sports resulted in their donation of over 2 million dollars.
“The power of a 2:1 match will ensure we continue funding the future of youth shooting teams across the country,” said Randy Moeller, MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director. “We are committed to helping teams raise funds for their programs and to help them do just that, we’ll place $2 for every $1 they contribute in to their endowment. It is our hope that all of our 3,000+ youth shooting teams with earmarked accounts utilize this year’s amazing program.”
